Okay this one is tricky, This builder gets a couple calls a week for this guitar
style mostly from phishfreaks with no money.

Nope not Languadoc,

Yes it is Koa I mispoke.

Keep guessing...it might be an obscure maker in the internet circle but not
in the guitar world. He makes custom instruments, no two are alike... lives in
Michigan. Taught me how to build guitars. KenMcKay38975.3875347222

Ahh yes Phishfreaks, Phishheads, you are right. On his website it reads "a
guitar similar to one by a player in a famous band". (I edited my first post
now to reflect the correct spelling, thanks for pointing that out Joe).

He doesn't post on the internet, so you won't ever see him here. Good
maker. Very low on jigs and high on hand skill.

Oh Jeez Carlton I wouldn't take it personally, many people don't post on the
internet for lack of time, and many other reasons.

Gary

Is a generous guy and a great "old school" maker although he is not old.

Ken,

I was just kiddin'. I was wondering why Zimnicki hadn't made his way here, or at the MIMF. Too busy makin' guitars!

If Paul Languedoc didn't make that guitar, then somebody is seriously
ripping off every single detail of the guitars that Paul Laguedoc makes.

Unless HE'S ripping someone else off!!!

Compare here

I'd be willing to bet dozens of dollars on this one!

Ken, I'm confused!!! I missed your link to Zimnicki's site. So did Zimnicki
make an exact copy of a Languedoc (including inlaying his sig), or are you
messing with us???

Mike,

This is a replica of the Laguedoc guitar. It has Gary's sig inlaid on the head.

I don't think Laguedoc was making guitars when Zimnicki made his. It looks
like he is now though. I will tell Gary about this.
